Wedding Dress Redo

I am not getting married again, but if I were going to I might have to make some changes...I'd keep my fabulous groom
LOVE HIM!!!

But I might re-consider my dress...I adored my dress...I might run home right now and try it back on, it was that fabulous....then I saw this dress today...and well, just look!

It is this Watters dress. And I just think it's gorgeous!! Go see it up close on the Watters website, trust me!  I love the sweetheart neckline, the flowers and how flowy it looks.  But could it hold a candle to my dress?

My dress created a waist and had just the perfect amount of lace and lace=classic!  It had a sweetheart neckline, buttons down the back and a gorgeous train, which I was completely opposed to at first, but then we would not have had this amazing photo...

That is our ring bearer, who carried my train from the moment pictures were finished until we were in the limo....And no one even told him to!!  How adorable is that?!
Need more pictures of my dress for comparrison?  Well, okay!!

Alright, so I SWOOON over my dress, still!  I would not change anything about my wedding day at all!!  So if someone else could get married soon and wear the Watters dress that would make me extremely happy, mmkthanks!

Sorry for the ridiculous amount of "gorgeous", "fabulous", "amazing", and "adorable" in this post...I'm in a FABULOUS, AMAZING mood!!!

Christmas Cards

*Spoiler Alert!  Do not read this post if you would like to be surprised by our Christmas card design!*

Clayton and I have been considering sending out Christmas cards this year.  Now that we're married it seems fitting and we have pretty recent addresses for everyone we would want to send cards to :)  I immediately decided to use Shutterfly (http://www.shutterfly.com/) beacuse I have used them for several different things before and have never been disappointed with their service or products!

We used Shutterfly for our wedding guest book.  I wish we had a picture of it, because it's so amazing!  I went to http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-books and created a photo book using all of our engagement pictures.  I made sure that each page had enough white space surrounding the pictures so everyone could leave us a message!  It was so much cuter than everyone just signing their name.  We recevied some of the sweetest notes and it is one of those things we will look through many many times and hopefully, someday our children will look through it!!  But enough about our photo book (I am currently working on two more with our wedding photos!) and on to our Christmas card selection.

Option #1 I really like this idea...but I just couldn't come up with 10 great things we did in 2010.  But this card is adorable!

Option #2 A super cute card to show off our little family.  The picture of Clayton and I is one of our engagement pictures.

Option #3 I love the snowflake inspired damask print and this picture is one of our favorites.

Option #4 I really like the idea of being able to add all 3 of our furbabies...But is it too much?!  The card is even called Family Roster!!

Option #5 Again I love the damask look!  And another one of our engagement pictures :)

I love all these options!  Maybe I should use different pictures though.  Clayton is on board with any of them, though I think he really wants to add our furbabies to the card...makes it not so much about us!  Luckily with Shutterfly it is so easy to change any of my cards by swapping out pictures or editing pictures so I can play with everything a bit more before deciding.  What do y'all think?  Do you love the damask as much as I do?  I think it's a classic look that won't ever go out of style!

This post has been sponsored in part by Shutterfly.  All the opinions are mine.  I will be receiving 50  holiday cards for blogging about this service.  Although all of my options have been sitting in my Shutterfly Projects folder for weeks before I even heard of this!  If you are a blogger, you can get in on the goodies too by going to this link http://blog.shutterfly.com/5358/holiday2010-blog-submission-form/

Music Monday: Issue 8

Clayton and I headed out to Mineola on Saturday to look at some possible housing options.  We did not end up making very good headway on Saturday but it appears that someone is looking out for us because today we got some pretty good news!  I don't want to say yet, because nothing is final, but we are pretty excited!  It's just another piece of the puzzle falling into place.

This song by Miranda Lambert really has nothing to do with our housing, not this time!  But I just love this song...perfectly titled "Love Song."

It is sappy and lovey dovey and makes me cry every time!  And yes I might be girl crushin on Miranda a bit, but I think it's deserved...A good small town Texas girl who just won Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.

Do you love this love song as much as I do?!  It is just the song I need somedays :) Also, any ideas on a better avenue to post my music monday songs?  I feel like there has to be a better option than youtube.

Hope you had a good Monday!

The House that Built Me

I guess some of you may be wondering what Miranda Lambert's "The House that Built Me" have to do with our big announcement.

To be honest, not really that much!  Except that the house that built Miranda was in Lindale, Texas.  Which is where Clayton and I will be moving this month!

Clayton's amazing skills landed him a job with 99.9 KMOO!!  Radio is Clayton's passion and he is so excited to be back in the business.  He will be the morning news anchor, while co-hosting the show with Cindy and Mike.  So be sure to tune in to www.kmoo.com from 6am-10am Monday-Friday to hear my handsome husband dish out East Texas news!

KMOO is a country format which is why I've been feeling a little country lately on my Music Mondays :) We will probably be moving to Mineola where the station is located...Mineola is about 15 minutes north of Lindale and 30 minutes north of Tyler.  With a population of a little over 5000 it is a much smaller town than our big city of Dallas but we are really excited!  How many married couples get to start a whole new adventure after 6 months of marriage?!

Follow us on our adventure to see where it takes us!!

Music Monday: Issue 7

I realize I haven't posted since Monday last week :-/ But I have some excuses, I happen to think they are pretty good too. Without too many details (the excuses deserve their own posts!) our laptop was destroyed, work was busy (well maybe this one doesn't deserve it's own post) and Clayton and I have embarked on a huge new adventure!!
I wanted to share this song with you because it has some significance to our adventure....

Any guesses as to what our adventure could be?! Or any guess as to why the song is significant?
